you’ve seen the videos, you’ve seen the hashtags. you’re ready to ally up. but beyond getting out in the streets and protesting, you’re at a loss about what you can really do that might make a difference. we get it. 

you could start by educating yourself on the policies that Black Lives Matter encourages to improve community policing. like these. 

then you could check to see if the representatives in your neighborhood voted for or against those policies. type in your zip code here.

after that, if you found that your reps aren’t voting in line with your beliefs then contact them and let them know. find out who exactly to call, and start dialing.
