i have an internet friend, and after watch your show it scares me that they're not who they say they are. how do you ask if someone is actually "real"

Don’t be afraid to protect yourself. If you are close with somebody online, ask them to send you a picture of their ID or to video chat with you. It may seem awkward at the time, but it will be a lot less awkward than finding out later on that they were lying to you the whole time.
