This Black History Month we celebrate the five black women who heard the advice, “shoot for the stars,” and took it literally. As the only black female astronauts in NASA’s history, Joan, Jeanette, Mae, Yvonne, and Stephanie defy every stereotype imaginable, We salute these women for the amount of imagination and pride they inspire in all of us.
