do you have advice for someone with an anxiety disorder who loves acting and singing in performances? I grew up with musicals and performing in an art school but its always been so so hard to be calm, how do you control yourself and stay mindful?

If you love it, do it as much as possible.  Get into acting class, do as many plays as you can.  I’m a very shy person, and when I was a kid the only way I came out of my shell was when I was able to hide within a character.  Fear is a part of the game, but you can also use it as fuel.  You can channel that energy into getting what your character needs.  It’s all about where you place your attention.  I personally meditate, journal, read plays, go to acting class, voice class, dance class…anything I can find to get me out of my comfort zone.  Use your fear as a compass to where you need to go.
